Inman Park Pet Works
Opens New Urban Dog
Spa
Atlanta, GA –
Release Date: March

Atlanta, GA – March
26, 2007. Inman Park
Pet Works (IPPW) is
announcing the
opening April 1,
2007 of their new
Urban Dog Spa, a
self-wash doggie
salon within the
store. These
beautiful, private
wash stations are
built around
hospital-quality,
stainless steel tubs
to help keep your
pet healthy, as
stainless steel is
easier to keep clean
and sterilized
between baths. They
also fit in
perfectly with the
designer décor,
state-of-the-art
dryers,
color-coordinated
towels, and fine spa
products to make
your dog feel better
and smell beautiful.
“Ever since we
opened for business
last year, our
customers have asked
when we were going
to add dog baths to
the store,” said
Laura Saunders,
owner of Inman Park
Pet Works. “We
finally decided the
need was there in
the community, even
though baths are
available in other
neighborhoods.
People like to bring
their dogs in for a
bath where they
shop, it’s just more
convenient,” she
added.
Local designer, MC
LeMay, created the
unique see-through
doors and
contributed to the
overall look of the
spa area. This noted
designer has
developed retail
displays for Bill
Hallman,
Alternative, and
other retail
locations throughout
the Atlanta area.
The dog wash
stations are
available on a
first-come,
first-serve basis
during regular store
hours, with the last
bath at 6:30 pm. All
grooming accessories
are included.
