AARF Adoption Event Coming to Inman Park Pet Works
Atlanta, GA – May 13,
2006.
AARF (Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends, Inc.) is coming to
Inman Park Pet Works on Saturday, May 20 from 11:00 to
2:00. One of Atlanta’s premier animal rescue groups,
they will be bringing some of their rescued pets looking
for wonderful, loving homes.
“Providing a venue and an opportunity for people and
adoptable pets to come together is the most satisfying
part of our business,” said Laura Saunders, owner of
Inman Park Pet Works. “Years ago, I started my career
with the SPCA in Los Angeles as a foster parent and
volunteer. I learned how desperate the continuous need
is for large-hearted people to help. Knowing you’ve
saved a life and brought love into your own is
priceless.”
AARF's biggest need is always foster parents! They
always have a list of pets waiting to come into the AARF
program, and are limited primarily by the number of
foster homes available. Fostering is a rewarding way to
help homeless pets. As a foster parent, you will watch
amazing transformations in your foster pet as he/she
becomes healthy, confident and ready for a forever home.
Being present at the happy endings of adoptions are one
of the most rewarding volunteer experiences you can
have. If you would like to volunteer to assist their
program in any way, contact AARF at
info@aarfatlanta.org.
