Carolyn Ritter

Carolyn Ritter is an award winning artist who's artwork of "Buddy" the Retriever was recently selected by the Georgia Department of Agriculture to appear on the new Georgia license tags.

Her paintings are intimate portraits of animals and nature in acrylic and mixed media. A life long love of animals surfaces in her pet portraits. It is the animal’s unique personality she tries to connect with, and the  paintings often show their whimsical side or an attitude.

"Painting is what I am compelled to do, and the process is the best part of the journey. When I am painting, I get lost in the world I am creating, and “life is good.”
